By accessing the Docugence.com website you are hereby acknowledging the acceptance of the Privacy Policy and its terms. Docugence Company is committed to your privacy. We demonstrate this commitment by posting this Privacy Policy to inform you of:
The personally identifiable information we collect from you through our Website;
How we use the information; With whom we share the information and why; Your choices regarding collection, use and distribution of the information; The security procedures in place to protect the information under our control, and; How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Personal Information Docugence Company is the sole owner of the information collected on this Website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others. The only time we collect personal information about a customer is at checkout. We need this information to process your order.
The only other organization that receives your information is the credit card company and the credit processing company. This is true for any credit card transaction, whether it be on the internet or in person. They only know the total cost of the transaction – not the information being searched for.
You may bypass the internet and send a cashier’s check or money order – along with a filled out order-form, to Docugence Company, 184 South Livingston Ave, STE 9-275, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. This will take longer – and does not assure your request will be accepted since we work on a “First Come - First Served” basis. If someone signs on with our service, through our website, for the same information request, before we receive you order by mail, they will then have a one year contract for that information. If this occurs, your money-order will be returned immediately explaining why we could not accept your order. No personal checks or cash accepted.
Docugence Company does not target registration to, or knowingly collect information directly from, anyone under the age of 18. Additionally, Docugence Company will never distribute any personally identifiable information concerning any minor, regardless of the source from which it was obtained.
Remember, however, the very best protection involves counseling your children regarding information online, and supervising their online activities. If you have any questions regarding any aspect of our Privacy Policy or would like to remove any information which you believe was inadvertently collected from a child under the age of 13, please email us at legal@docugence.com.
Registration to use this site is not required.
Orders We request information from you on our order form. Here you must provide contact information which includes name, address, zip code, email address and phone number (optional). We also need to collect your financial information (credit card type, account number, expiration date and security number (on back of card). This information is needed to process your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we need this information to contact you. This is the only personal information we request. UPON COMPLETION OF YOUR ORDER - ALL YOUR INFORMATION IS REMOVED FROM THE COMPUTER AND PLACED INTO ARCHIVAL STORAGE. This guarantees the security of your information. Your email will only be reloaded into the computer when we need to contact your or give you your report on the status of our searches. No computer security system is 100% effective – our removal procedure solves this problem.
NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS STORED IN ANY COMPUTER CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. All personal information is stored offsite, in a secure location.
Cookies A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our website. Once you close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our website, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our website. You may set your browser preferences to reject the cookie, and may still use our website. The credit card company and credit processing company may use your cookies, but you will have to check with them about their company policies concerning your privacy. This is not in the control of Docugence Company.
IP Address We use IP addresses for analyzing trends, administering the website, tracking user’s movement, and gathering broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. This helps us in making the site easier to use for our customers.
Partners We do not share your personal information with anyone other than the credit card processor. This is an automatic process that takes place when a credit card is used for payment to complete your transaction. This information consists only of your credit card information and total monetary amount being charged, to enable them to process your order. We do not give them any personal information about our customers. If you pay by cashier’s check or money-order through the mail, you bypass the credit process altogether.
Security This website takes every precaution to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information through the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card information, address, etc.), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry, SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox become locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just “surfing” our site.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect your information off-line.
Since no security system is 100% effective we implement the following procedure:
NONE OF YOUR INFORMATION IS LEFT IN ANY COMPUTER AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED. IT IS COMPLETELY REMOVED AND STORED IN ARCHIVAL FORM. THIS INCLUDES YOUR EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE AS WELL. IF IT IS NEEDED FOR REFERENCE IT IS REINSTALLED, TEMPORARILY, AND THEN AGAIN REMOVED. THIS ELIMINATES ANY POSSIBILITY OF ANYONE HACKING INTO THE SYSTEM ATTEMPTING TO STEAL INFORMATION.
